We are a NZ couple having had property management experience on the Gold Coast for a number of years, now retired and returned to NZ. We are an active, quiet, mature couple having owned our own homes and properties both in New Zealand and Australia, We are fastidious regarding home care and property maintenance, gardens, pools, etc.

We have been "parents" to Clipper (pedigree smooth-head fox terrier), Rhubi (adorable moggie) and Georgie (pedigree Chinchilla cat) - all lived to old age of seventeen to twenty-two years respectively! We do not have pets presently, but both are very fond of domestic animals. We are a childless couple with no grandchildren.

Interested in house sitting prior to permanently settling, we envisage this activity will enable us to live in and explore regions of the country we have been unable to spend time visiting.

Should you be interested in having us as experienced and immaculate house carers, trustworthy, non-smokers, affectionate and attentive to your loved animals, giving you peace of mind while absent, we look forward to hearing from you and arranging to meet you.

This is the first time we have had house sitters so naturally we were a bit apprehensive. Our worries were completely unfounded as Joy and Barry are lovely and we couldn’t be happier with the wonderful care our pet’s received while we were away. We came home to a spotless house and a lovely greeting. We certainly recommend them if you are looking for an older couple to look after your property. We will certainly be contacting them again for future housesits
