I am fit and healthy and love animals.I have a dog of my own who enjoys a great life in our own home. I am currently living in Ghana, where Lesley, my wife has a high profile education job. I will be residing back in NZ between September -March every year. This is the time I visit and catch up with family and friends. We have 8 grandchildren so that, in itself, is a lovely treat to have. I am very keen on the house-sitting concept as then I am not over burdening our children by having to stay with them when I visit NZ. Also it presents the opportunity to meet new, interesting people and travel around my beloved NZ again, as a golden oldie! Before I retired I was a schoolteacher so I have good organisational skills and empathy for others. I love caring for gardens & lifestyle properties. I always take on the responsibility that I would look after others properties and animals as I would my own.
Dave was a fantastic house and pet sitter. All four of our animals (2 cats and 2 dogs) were very well taken care. Our dogs were taken for plenty of walks. Dave took also care of watering our veggie garden, which was very much appreciated.. When we returned home our house was clean and tidy, Thank you so much, Dave!

David house sat our residence while my husband and I were over seas. We also have 2 dogs. Dave looked after our home and pets for just over 9 weeks. We had communication once a week or so to let us know how things were going. He sent photos of our anomals and gave updates on their health and walks with him. Dave took very good care of our home. Dave took great care of our property and our dog while we were away for a long weekend. Dave was a great communicator and kept us updated while we were away. Dave left the house in a very tidy condition. We would definitely recommend Dave for future houses sits.

Dave and Lesley were great to deal with in every way. They took great care of our home and pets. We returned to a very clean house (thankyou) and tidy garden. Would highly recommend them as house sitters and they will be welcome back with us again.
Dave has been a fabulous house sitter and was able to help us out twice at short notice. Great quick communications.
He is a lovely guy and I think the dogs took to him fairly quickly. They were walked regularly and the dog run was clean.

It was a great pleasure having Dave care for Frida and our home. His down to earth and friendly personality was well received and appreciated. Frida enjoyed Dave's attention and genuine like for her, and she loved their daily walks.
