Retiree, Casual Pre-School Relief Teacher

I am a semi=retiree who loves travel, meeting people and am passionate about animal welfare. I also love helping people and know the importance of having reliable, trustworthy people living in your home as security and caring for their beloved pets when you are absent. I am experienced with both domestic and farm animals. I house sat and cared for a friend's doggie while she was overseas for six weeks pre-Covid and regularly farm/animal sit for friends who live in the Akatarawa Valley. Plus, I have house/pet sat for folk registered with Kiwi House Sitters as indicated in my profile. I personally own a German Shorthaired Pointer - neutered male Frankie aged 1 year on 15 August. He is a gorgeous animal, well trained, very sociable, energetic and lots of fun!

Marie is a wonderful house and puppy sitter. She looked after our very energetic 7 month old Huntaway Cross puppy, Laya, with kindness and experience. Understandably Laya was very sad to see Marie go! And the house was in better condition than we left it. We couldn't have wished for a better sitter. Thanks so much Marie!

Marie was an amazing house and Pet sitter. Our Lab puppy, cat and chickens were super happy and calm when we got home. The garden and yard was well looked after and house was very clean and tidy.
