Marc & Sarah

Hey there,
my girlfriend Sarah and I are travelling to New Zealand. We are from Cologne, Germany and excited to get to know the country. After being done with our bachelors degree it is the perfect time to break out and see the world. We started with two pet/house sits in Auckland and Tauranga and will see where the journey takes us next.
I (Marc) have always had at least one cat around me. Mostly one big and lazy furrball in the past and currently an active and cuddly cat lady. Sarah has always been more of a dog person but we generally like animals with just a slight difference in our favorites.
Sitting a house and/or a pet gives you the opportunity to dive deeper into the life of the country you are visiting. I have lived abroad in Lincoln, Nebraska for a semester and stayed with a hostfamily what made getting in contact with culture and it's traditions very easy. It transforms your experience from "visiting somewhere" to "living there" just like house- or petsitting does by giving your stay a purpose.
