Stephanie & Scott

Hello, we are Stephanie and Scott. We have been into the house sitting lifestyle for many years. First it was for our two beloved dogs while we were away. After they passed and the world opened after Covid we thought it was time to give back to the community. We love meeting new people, experience new cultures and life in general. We are traveling full time, we are childless, no parents and no obligations except when we accept a sit. We take pride in having our host arrive back home to find it as clean ( if not cleaner) and the pets happy, cared for and loved. We were homeowners for 23 years and are responsible, careful people with our hosts property and beloved pets.
I was Vice President of a pet rescue in Key Largo, Florida called Marrvelous Pet Rescues (.org) After fostering over 60 dogs from newborn pups to 100lbs big dogs in our home, we have gained great intuition of what a pet wants or needs. We have worked closely with dog trainers, many vets we have helping our rescue animals & people involved with the pet rescue. I think that our vast experience with different animals is certainly a huge plus. We adapt quickly & will work in what ever way your pet requires.
As a retired Estate Agent, I am a strong communicator, and always request how the host would like to be contacted and at what frequency.
We are non smokers, and prefer to be in a smoke free environment.

We couldn’t have dreamed of better sitters! Stephanie and Scott cared perfectly for our dog and cat, who clearly loved them. They communicated brilliantly before and during the stay giving us regular updates and photos of their adventures. They were very organised, respectful and very friendly and left the house and garden in an immaculate condition. Stéphanie and Scott were the best sitters you could ever have! They took really good care of our Rocksy and the house which was as tidy and clean as we left it. We liked these guys as soon as we had our introductory video call, and their vast experience with foster dogs (and all their 5 star reviews) reassured us that my young dog and his beloved older brother, plus our cat would be on good hands.
Great communication throughout, nothing was too much trouble and we came home to happy cared for pets and a clean house.
The time we spent together was fun and they left as friends. It's what this site is all about.

What a wonderful experience! This was our first time using a sitter, and Stephanie was so helpful. She not only took great care of my animals (and home!), but she was kind enough to guide us through setting up our welcome kit and teaching us the ins and outs of having a sitter. She communicated in the weeks leading up to our trip, and send me the sweetest texts and pics of the "kids" while we were away. They washed the sheets and left the house cleaner than it was when they arrived. The only bad part is that Stephanie and her husband are off on grand adventures and won't be able to sit stateside for me in the future. Possibly a good thing, because I'm pretty sure my animals would switch their loyalty with a few more days of Stephanie's care :) Thanks for a GREAT first experience, and for taking care of my aging, medication needed, almost blind, high maintenance babies so well.
