Liv & Freddy

Kia ora, we are Liv and Freddy,

As well as being animal mad, Liv is a children’s nurse and Freddy is an accountant from the UK. We will be travelling around New Zealand for a year, arriving on 16th September 2024. We plan to do flexible work and explore what New Zealand has to offer.

Pet care:
We are a kind, caring and reliable couple.

We have been brought up around animals our whole lives and currently have two springer spaniels (Kenny and Larry) and a cat (Pixie).
We also have pet sitting experience from our time volunteering abroad in a family home/ farm. Here we looked after their dog, cats as well as their sheep and goats!

Liv also has a lot of professional experience having worked in cat and dog kennels, and a pet shop.

Hobbies:
We enjoy being active with walks in nature, and would love for your pet to accompany us, if possible, to get the exercise and joys of nature they deserve. Otherwise, we also enjoy spending time at home snuggled up or playing with our pets, making memories and returning the love and companionship they offer.

As well as going on walks. we also love going to the gym. Liv in her spare time is an avid crocheter and loves to be crafty.

Home Care:
We are organised, tidy, and respectful.

As with pets, we have grown up contributing to the cleaning and general upkeep of our family homes as well as our own homes, so are fully capable of keeping your home in good order until your return.

During our stay, we will treat your home with the same respect and attention as we would our own, but also respect your privacy.

Summary:
We understand going away and leaving your furry family and home behind can be stressful, but you can rest easy knowing that we will treat your home well and your pets like our own family and give them lots of love whilst you are away.
