Hi my name is Amelie and my husband is Seb. We are an animal loving family from Wellington. We own a cat and chooks but also have experience with rabbits, guinea pigs and horses. We love dogs and aim to adopt one in the future once our property is dog friendly. I hold a certificate in equine skills lv 3 and also own an online certificate in advanced Animal training (Karolina Westlund, Illis) Seb is a keen gardener and enjoys pottering around the house.
Being House and pet owners ourselves we understand the commitment to being your house and pet sitter. Your property and animals will be in good hands while you enjoy a holiday. We are a reliable, respectful and caring family. We have good communication skills and are very tidy. Our children are 20, 17 and 12. We were incredibly fortunate to have Amelie, Seb, and their family look after our home and pets while we were away. My communication with Amelie before their stay was excellent, giving us confidence that our fur babies and home would be well looked after. Throughout their stay, we were provided with regular updates on our pets and the house. Amelie and Seb and family did an amazing job of looking after Tui and our beach house. They were really easy to communicate with and accommodating around our departure plans. The house was cleaner than we left it, with all linen cleaned and everything tidy. Tui was very relaxed and happy - he'd obviously had lots of walks and cuddles. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Amelie and Seb to look after your home and pets.

Amelie and her family were fabulous house sitters - they kept in touch throughout their stay, letting us know all was well and the animals were well cared for. There was an issue with our bore water and Amelie was onto it straight away ensuring all our animals were safe and had water. The communication with Amelie was excellent, she left the house spotless and we would love to have her return one day. Thank you for looking after all our precious animals for us :)

An absolutely amazing family. They cared and looked after our animals so well even with a few mishaps on the animals part, they took care of our elderly cat who missed us, with lots of patience and understanding. They took the liberty to plant a few plants I had sitting and weeded a few spots too which was fabulous to come back to unexpectedly.
