I am a mother of three grown up children and was a house/ garden and pet owner for over twenty years. I owned dogs, cats, birds, chickens and a gold fish pond. I have been traveling through New Zealand in my motor home for more than a year now. I enjoy looking after every kind of pet, and I am happy to spend time with pets who need a little extra TLC or need to be given medication. I am an experienced gardener (who doesn't mind mowing lawns- it's true!). I am a non smoker, pretty active and love the outdoors. Please ask away if there is anything that you need to know.
I am happy to come in person so we can meet before I look after your home and pets.

Julja was brilliant and had to deal with taking both dogs to the vet (a grass seed problem and a dog attack) left the house immaculate with home baking and plum jam too! I cannot recommend her highly enough! The house sit was 2oth Dec to 15th Jan - 3.5 weeks

Julja cared for our home, 5 cats, chickens and ducks for 3 weeks while we were on holiday. It was a pleasure to get to know her and our animals thrived under her care. A very special person who not only lavished love on our pets and our property but on us too. The chaotic contents of our cupboards were organised, baking was left for us to enjoy and a beautiful miniature vege garden planted complete with decorated stones identifying the plants. Julja stayed at our place while we took a two week break away. Our major worry was our elderly cats. With Julja we needen't have worried. The cats bonded with her pretty much straight away which is unusual as they are usually afraid of everybody. We came back to a house that was better organised than the one we left and we will try maintain that standard going forward. Julja is a fantastic person whom we instantly connected with. She spoilt our cats in just the right royal way and cared for their palace perfectly. Julja baked for us on our return and the castle was spotless. We would thoroughly recommend Julja as a castle and pet sitter. She's so sensitive to providing peace of mind for all.
