Julie & Russell

Hi, We are a married couple in our 50s (met at school), who are both university educated (Ed. & Env. Science) and widely travelled. We are/were English but have lived in Darwin for 10 years, where I work supporting small remote schools and Russell is finishing off building our house on an acre bush block. Between us we have had dogs, cats, goldfish and native birds as well as a much loved guinea pig. Russell did casual work in a kennels/cattery and used to work on a friend's farm during lambing. He also ran a raptor rescue scheme in England and we have cared for and released native birds. Russell would be very competent to administer medicines, injections or other care to most types of animal.
I am very organised and tidy (Virgo) and we are both house proud. We worked as housekeepers in our 20s - maintaining inside and out including a pool and tropical gardens.
Russell has had his own landscaping business and managed groups of conservation volunteers - he is passionate about native wildlife and veggie growing and I love a bit of mowing!
As we have built our own house we are also pretty handy.
We enjoy the outdoors and are fit and are now looking to explore the world, but not as tourists. We would hope to look after your home and animals in the same way you do !
I have a "Safe NT" working with children card for work which includes regular criminal record checks. I can provide a reference. We look forward to hearing from you!
