We are a retired couple in our sixties who now have no pets or kids to look after, so we have decided to trip around Nz and hse sit to see the country. we own our own home, love animals, non smokers, hse proud and love gardening. John is a handyman and has had quite a bit to do with farming .
.The house sits we have done over the last few years have been to some unusual places, including living off grid in Far North Queensland, and running a small resort in the outer islands of Tonga. We would look after your home with great care as thats what we do and love your animals as our own.
We have references from some of our house sits, but some are lost when we took a 2 yr break. We used to have police checks for our work but since retiring we don't require them. Feel free to ring and ask any questions required.

I returned from my travels to find the house just as I had left it. Julie was in touch with me on a few occasions to confirm the housesitting arrangements and ask a question. Best of all, my elderly -and needy- cat, 3 chickens and a garden struggling with the drought, were all in good shape.

Julie and John house sat for us for a week recently and did a very good job. We came back to a very clean and tidy house and the animals were well looked after while we were away. We are happy to recommend them to anyone else looking for competent house sitters.

Julie and John's communication was excellent. They contacted us several times prior to the confirmed house sit to clarify that they were still available and make arrangements to visit prior to their arrival. They took notes , walked our life style block and confirmed their arrival and departure date . They took care of around 80 sheep , a few cattle , chickens , ducks and our cat .
