Hi, we are a couple of retired professional Brits (university lecturer and merchant navy ships captain) with family in Northland whom we visit for approx 3-6 months every year. We will arrive later this year - mid November - to stay with our family and visit all our kiwi friends, until mid March 2024. We love being in NZ with our family, but we also like to give them a break from us from time to time, so we like to get out and about and go further afield every visit. Please check out our feedback from our previous sits. We always try to do a great job. We are home owners in the UK, quite houseproud. We are non smokers and take care of our own and others possessions. We have also been left in charge of the daughter's lifestyle block - pigs, chickens, sheep, ducks, dog and veg plot when they go on holiday. We love animals and look after our other daughter's German Shepherd in the UK. We love New Zealand and all the wonderful opportunities it offers. Just to clarify - we arrive in NZ in mid November and unfortunately will leave again in mid March 2024.

John and Chrissy took excellent care of our home-it was definitely cleaner than we left it! And our dog and cat were happy and well cared for. Communication was good with daily updates. We would be happy with them looking after our home and pets again.
John ad Chrissy were exceptional House Sitters. They communicated very well arrived in plenty of time to go over the sit and meet the animals. They immediately made friends with Jess our dog and we were very confident leaving our home and pets in there care.
hen we returned the house was lovely, tidy and clean and they had made a bed for us which was very much appreciated. I would thoroughly recommend them and would welcome them back to house sit again in the future.

John and Chrissy looked after our house and pets for three days on short notice. What a lovely, friendly couple! They such good care of our dogs and cat. They had lots of playtime and even got new toys!! We received daily updates and got home to a clean and tidy home. I would highly recommend John and Chrissy for any house sit! John and Chrissy looked after my two precious dogs excellently which was a weight off my mind while I was away. They walked them everyday and gave them lots of cuddles and attention. They also looked after my house with respect and made sure I returned home to clean sheets and towels and to a clean house with milk in the fridge :) Communication was excellent with text and photo updates while I was away. I would highly recommend John and Chrissy for future house sits.
John & Chrissy are the loveliest couple, they are really friendly and we felt like they were part of our friends base. We had 2 evenings with them which was delightful. Our house was spotless, garden watered and our two fur-babies so happy and content it was like we had never left. The dates are wrong as I entered the wrong date first off and couldn't figure out how to change. Anybody getting John & Chrissy are very lucky to have them, you will not find anybody better. Highest recommendation.

Communications on arrival and on leaving were perfect for us. The house was left as found and sheets washed. The cat, dog and Horses all well fed, watered, and happy.

John & Chrissy have been great sitters for us, looking after our 5 dogs and 3 cats. All the animals have had great attention while we've been away and thanks so much for keeping the new garden plants alive in the dry conditions we currently have.
They have communicated very well with our farm team and messaged us while we have been travelling.
