I live in my own home in Lower Hutt with a couple of boarders and a very old (17y) dog.
Having an older dog has made me aware that with older and anxious animals it is much better for them to stay in their own home when their loved ones are away.
As I sometimes like to spend a couple of nights away for a change of scene, (Sometimes with and sometimes without my partner). I thought house sitting would be a good way to help someone out and allow me to achieve that.
I am available anywhere within the Wellington region and short notice will be no problem. As I am local, we can meet anytime beforehand to ensure we are compatible.
Also prepared to travel 3-4 hours from Wellington within the North Island for a weekend.
I have owned cats, dogs, mice, rabbits, horses, chickens, sheep, pigs, cattle and am happy to care for all of the above as well as your garden.

Jenine was a very natural, friendly and caring person. She looked after our dog really well, informing us of how the days have been going which was always nice to hear. Our dog felt comfortable with Jenine from the moment she met her, showing her comfort with animal engagement. Our property was left really well too, tidy and cared for as if it were her own.
