Hi, we are a couple in our late 50's and early 60's who having moved to the Tasman area and purchased a section in Motueka decided to try some house sits while our new home was being built, we enjoyed the experience so much that we have decided to continue to do the occasional house/pet sit. We are originally from Dunedin where we lived on a small farm-let, over the years we have had cows, sheep, hens, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, cats and a dog and have loved learning about and interacting with them all.
We have two adult children now living in Christchurch and was very excited to become grandparents in August 2022.
We are honest, reliable people who would love the opportunity to look after your home and take care of your pets (walking a dog again would be a treat, our dear old dog died a few years back).

Shirley and Jim were fantastic house sitters. Two weeks before they were due to pet sit our cat Bella passed away, but were still happy to look after the house. They left the house lovely and clean and even did some gardening. Very happy and would have them back again. Highly recommended this lovely couple.

Shirley and Jim looked after our house, garden and cat for six weeks over Summer and did a great job. We came back to a tidy house and garden and a very happy cat. They even helped preserving the abundance of produce from our garden! It was great to get regular updates, sometimes with pictures and to just to have a prompt conversation when needed. We would definitely recommend Shirley and Jim to others, they are a trusted and respectful nice couple.
