Val has house set for us a number of times. She was very responsible and took great care of the house, our dog and our cat. It brought us peace of mind to know things were being looked after (mail collected, plants watered, dog walked) and that our pets were well and happy.

We have come home to very happy and contented animals - all 79 of them - cat, dog, hens, sheep and cattle. Our cat is a true indicator of how well things went. Usually upon our return from time away, she would treat us with distain and keep her distance for a while. Not this time. She was her normal friendly and affectionate self. The hens too provide proof of your good care as egg production did not waver.
We also came home to an immaculate home. This was very much appreciated.
We were confident when we left that that all would go well while we were away. We were therefore able to relax and enjoy our trip.

Val house sat for us for 5 weeks in June/July 2016 at our house in Wellington. This was the first time we had used Kiwi House Sitters and we were a little apprehensive until we met with Val in person prior to the house sit. Val put us completely at ease, and Wally, our dog endorsed that she was the right person for the role !
Val was there predominately to look after Wally, our young bichon frise x, and she went out of her way to ensure that Wally had lovely long walks and all the attention he was accustomed to! Val kept in touch with us while we were in Europe providing us with regular updates on Wally's activities. She took great care of our house and we came back to a happy dog and a beautifully clean home with everything just as we had left it.
Val really went the extra mile for us and we highly recommend her as a lovely, trustworthy person to look after your home and pets. Karen
