Emma & Stuart

We are Stuart and Emma, a young and active retired couple who both love animals. We are fully vaccinated and are non-smokers. We have previously been pet parents to dogs, cats, fish, chickens and horses.
We have been house sitting full-time since January 2023, and have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We have stayed in some lovely homes and looked after some amazing pets. We spent 6 months house sitting in the UK in 2023 which was an incredible experience. Since returning to New Zealand in November 2023 we have continued to house sit, and we look forward to house sitting in more beautiful locations in New Zealand.
We are both fit and active and like to walk every day. We are also house-proud people who like to keep things neat and tidy. We can mow lawns and keep your garden watered if needed. We are looking forward to meeting some more amazing pets and looking after them while you enjoy your holidays or are away for work.

Stuart & Emma were fantastic. We had a great video call to start and they kept communication flowing prior to arrival.
They arrived early to start, and were very friendly and amenable. We had a lovely chat before we left going through everything , nothing was too much trouble. We left very comfortable with the care Lexi was going to receive whilst away.
During the stay we were sent reports and photos. Stuart and Emma even integrated with our pub group which we’re pleased to hear from them and from our friends.
Upon our return everything was spotlessly clean, tidy and Lexi was more than content having been out every day- she had a lovely time. The garden had been looked after very well, all was thriving.
We would definitely recommend Stuart & Emma, and they are welcome anytime should they wish to return.

Emma and Stuart were great sitters for our Labrador, house and garden! We made initial contact a few months before our trip and kept in touch until the sit began which was reassuring to us, especially as they were travelling to the UK from New Zealand. We had a night with Emma and Stuart before our holiday began but already knew when we left that our dog and home were in good hands.
Our Labrador seemed very happy and chilled on our return and had obviously been well looked after.
They did a fantastic job keeping our garden pots, plants and vegetable garden watered during an unseasonably hot and dry couple of weeks which was very much appreciated and it was also lovely to come back to a neat and tidy house.
Maybe Emma and Stuart can make a trip to the UK an annual thing as we would love to have them sit for us again and so would the dog! Thank you so much to you both!!

Emma and Stuart were the perfect house sitters. They took Teilo on some lovely hikes and kept me up to date with photos. They are exceptionally tidy and organised. I recommend them to everyone looking for 5* sitters!

We could not have found more perfect house sitters than Emma and Stuart! Right from the start, when we chatted on Whatsapp, we got on extremely well, and they were very interested in Evie, the house and everything there is to do in the area. When our flight was cancelled, they spent 2 nights here with us before we left which gave us a great opportunity to get to know each other and for Evie to get used to them. They adored Evie and took her on lots of walks as well as sight seeing trips, which she loved. Emma sent frequent updates and photos of both Evie, as well as some painting work which was being finished off, and even took her to the vet when a worriesome sore appeared on her tummy. When we returned, the house was immaculate and they had even helped with weeding and mowing in the garden, which was a huge help. It was really sad to say goodbye and I know Evie misses them. I honestly could not recommend them highly enough. They made our trip really enjoyable and totally stress-free and I will always be grateful to them for looking after Evie and our house. Thank you!

Emma and Stuart were excellent house sitters.
They contacted us well in advance of the sit to check a few details and arrived ahead of time for the sit. They also stayed on an extra day when our flights were delayed!
They sent photos of Alfie enjoying himself whilst we were away.
On our return, the house was as we left it and Alfie was happy; they had even bathed and groomed him!
We especially appreciated the garden being looked after, even the lawns were immaculate!
We would not hesitate in recommending Emma & Stuart to look after your house & pets!

Emma and Stuart were very organised and let us know exactly when they would arrive. They were lovely with the dogs and sent us photos. They were extremely tidy and left the house as they found it. I would have them again and I would recommend them
