We are a mature married couple, and dependable house sitters, looking for homes to sit, and animals to care for. We both love animals, and have grown up with pets, cats and dogs. We have a diverse experience in caring for both animals and homes.
We are Dion and Linda, and we are located in the far North of New Zealand.
Dion is a Kiwi born and raised, beekeeper. He is a goodwilled, funny, gentle spirited and hardworking man.
Linda is a Danish girl with a bachelor in social-education; she is organized, warmhearted, gentle, smiles easily and loves children.
Dion grew up on a hobby farm in one of New Zealand farm areas. Through his childhood and youth, He helped his parents out around the farm, tending to the sheep and goats, building fences and doing renovation work. In his later years, He has been entrusted with both house and property maintenance, and has multiple references for this. He is experienced in contract building, as well as painting and joinery.
Linda grew up in Denmark, as a child she had an early love for animals and caring for them, even finding wounded animals trying to nurture them back to health. This love has also lead her to do volunteer work in Africa with orphaned or wounded wildlife. In her later years she has been housesitting in Denmark taking care of two mischievous but cute cats. Other than that, she has been working as a house sitter and childcare worker in a private home for a period of 2 years, caring for 3 children whom tragically lost their mum.
We both have a high respect for being in your private home, and will treat it with utmost honor. We are family oriented people, quiet and down to earth. We love to adventure and explore while learning new things. Together we enjoy camping, tramping and being in nature. We are looking to build our own home here in New Zealand one day, but for now, we are keen to and exited about housesitting, while we are saving for our own future home, that others might sit.

Dion and Linda were amazing house sitters. They are such a lovely couple and we knew our home and cat would be in safe hands. For 5 weeks they took such good care of our cheeky cat, our big old house and our huge garden. They managed all that through 3 major weather events. A severe storm , a cyclone, a huge downpour and a 5 day long power cut. They seemed unfazed by such adverses conditions.
