David & Leila

We are Dávid and Leila from Hungary.

All of our lives we were surrounded by animals. For us, interacting with pets is in our everyday routine. We have a cat, fish, and a snail as a pet currently. But we used to have cows, little birds, ducks, chickens, and even a frog once! Since we live in a big house with a huge garden, we have the skills to maintain it well. We actually like to water the plants, and watch them grow. One of our hobbies is to bring home new species of trees or flowers. We usually take the seeds and experiment with growing them at home.

Since we are travelling for long times, and we miss our pets, we decided to join this community, to be able to pet and play with cats and dogs, and take care of other animals that needs a sitter.

We used to take care of our friend's cat in Malaysia, when he had to travel abroad for a month.
When we were Couchsurfing in Brazil we had to watch 4 cats, 2 dogs and a frog for 2 weeks.
We also watched our neighbour's cats, and turtle, when she was away in the countryside.
We always had animals around us, since our childhood, especially cats, and fish.


Important information:

-We are non-smokers
-We don't drink (rarely a bottle of wine in special occasions only)
-We know how to do gardening
-We can help in maintaining a house (cleaning, tidying etc.)
-We speak English, Hungarian, and Leila speaks Arabic also.
- David is good at fixing simple things around the house.
-We don't have a car, we are super fit, we walk around 10-20 km/per day, and take public transport in every country we visit. We have been to 61 countries so far and always managed to get around by public transport :D
