I live in Lyall Bay but can't have an animal where I live so I take every opportunity I can to house and dog/cat sit as often as I can. I already look after dogs, cats and chickens on a regular basis for anywhere from 3 days to four weeks while their owners are away. For the past three years I have been booked solidly as I have many repeat clients (12 regulars).

I don't smoke or drink and do live a healthy lifestyle.

I have experience with deaf and blind dogs and administering medication. I can't climb steps that don't have hand rails as I have neuropathy but this does not stop me from walking dogs on the beach or park.

I have my own car to make it easy for me to transport the owners fur babies. I live 100mtrs from Lyall Bay beach and multiple parks where they are comfortable with long walks, swimming and meeting other well trained dogs. when I care for them they take priority while I live at their home. I don't mind them sleeping on the end of my bed and like to give them all the care and cuddles they need while you are away.

I have references from some home owners whose pets I have cared for and many dogs and owners I have met while walking other dogs.

i have been retired now for five years.. I can also provide Police references.

I am only 5ft 4 so do prefer small to medium dogs as larger ones can be a handful for my size. Please contact me for a meet and greet and discussion. I am triple vaccinated plus I have had second booster. .

I prefer suburbs. near the airports. I do charge a minimal daily or weekly cost for guaranteeing 100% care of these precious babies, petrol and keeping your house clean and tidy ,however this is totally negotiable. Please feel free to contact me after viewing my reviews,

From the moment we met Crete we knew she was the perfect match for our little Mia. Her quick, clear communication and obvious love and passion for dogs helped us feel confident and at ease about leaving our wee Mia with someone new for 5 days. Having Crete look after our house and animals was a great peace of mind! Excellent communication and she managed pet medications (and quirks!) very capably. I wouldn't hesitate to ask Crete again. I think my dog was overjoyed at the walks Crete took her on, and getting to hang with other dogs!

Daisy is a very lovely cat...easy to look after. Laure and her family were so easy to communicate with especially with instructions ov how o care for their home and cat. Crete looked after our dog Arlo for 4 days. She was an absolute star. We came home to a very happy dog and a tidy house. Great communication skills, she gave us daily updates of Arlo, which we all enjoyed to read. When she left Arlo sat by the door and we think he was waiting for her return. It was the first time we have had a dog sitter and we just felt so much at ease with Crete staying here. We highly recommend Crete and can't wait for her to dog/house sit again for us.

Crete was able to pet sit Pete at very short notice and fortunately lived just around the corner from us! Communication was excellent and Pete early had a great time, he was very happy upon our return and we would gladly have Crete Pet sland house sit again. Can't recommend enough.

Crete is above top class. Our old pugs need extra care so we don't usually travel. It was the first time we got back from a trip and they were not stressed ( they actually looked like they had a better holiday then we did). Crete is highly professional and compassionate. Crete was a fantastic dog and house sitter. Our dog was the number one priority from the initial meeting and he was very happy to see her again later for the actual sit. He was calm and relaxed when we got home (but a bit sad the next day when Crete wasn't around!) He got extra special walks and treats and cuddles and we would have no hesitation in booking Crete to dog sit again. Arriving home to a super clean and tidy house was an extra bonus. Highly recommended.

I am very confident that our dogs were disappointed when we got home as Crete spoilt them with undivided attention.
