Couple from Finland on Working Holiday Visa

Hello!

We are a couple from Finland touring beautiful New Zealand for a year on a working holiday visa. We are taking a gap year from our office jobs.

We like to spend our free time in nature, hiking, running and swimming. That is why we decided to come to New Zealand and move into a van. We also like to go climbing. We lead a healthy life so we do not smoke, drink alcohol or use drugs.

Tuomas has a lot of experience taking care of pets, especially cats and dogs. His family had dogs when he was a child (Lapponian Herder, Cocker Spaniel, mixed breed) and some cats. He also used to have 3 Cornish Rex cats in his twenties. In the photos you can see Tuomas's sister's dogs (they have 1 Chihuahua, 2 Icelandic Sheepdogs and 4 cats) which he sometimes cares for.

Johanna instead has more experience taking care of plants. She had nearly 80 plants at home. She also used to have 4 mice as pets as a child.

Johanna and Tuomas are delightful. We thoroughly recommend them! They took great care of our two dogs over a long weekend and the house was beautifully clean when we arrived home. Johanna’s communication was always great, before the housesit, during and after it. They sent some lovely pics while we were away 😁
