Greetings 🌈👋
I am excited not only because it’s finally happened - it’s also been many years since I have seen my former sister-in-law who lives in Tauranga. Plus I have also been quite lucky to have secured two jobs to start at a reasonable length of time so far.

My skill set as a carer is solid with animals and people as I needed to be back in Sydney from living in Melbourne so I could help Mum with Dad - and then eventually Mum needed me 24/7. Plus I used to work in consultation as a therapist.

It’s a joy looking after animals.
Apart from family pets and those from pethome care jobs on and off over the years I also had a small pet care service and when asked I helped socialise local dogs in Victoria.

When necessary for pet home care (as it has helped me travel for work or play) there have been great jobs like Sydney to Albury then on to Adelaide; the Blue Mountains a few times; Mogo down southern NSW; up north to Townsville Qld. etc.

I began to work as a pet carer in Albury Victoria for a lady who had 2 Poodles, 2 Golden Retrievers and a Ginger cat. I was lucky she helped me by allowing me to stay until it was time to take up my work as a therapist at premises in Adelaide.

Another time I was in Melbourne and an acquaintance took me to a sheep and crop station on the South Australian /Victorian border. I had to look after the main house and two wonderful labradors and learn how to use a ride on mower, feed a horse and some chickens. So this city slicker had to adapt and learn quick.

There are some quite good references (incl a character ref) attached that will fill you in a bit more and naturally we can chat too. Plus the referee details I am happy to give you as Admin block them out for security reasons.

I lived with my former in-laws with the family 🏡 in Wellington many moons ago and It feels good to be reaching out to homeowners who live in the beautiful New Zealand now I am finally here once more.
