Our experience:

Cat - My family and I have had Charlie since 2018, our beautiful rescue dog originally from Ireland. He is a medium sized dog, a collie and setter cross. Found as a stray, Charlie sometimes has issues with other dogs so I have learnt how to be attentive to his emotions and signals. With Charlie being sometimes reactive, I am fully aware that not every dog will be easy. Each dog has its own challenges and personal needs. Not every dog will be suited to every situation and I pride myself on being very able to read dogs' signals and be empathetic to their needs.
I have owned rabbits since I was a child. I had Snuggles (!!), Bluebell and Albert. Apart from dogs, they are my favourite animals and I love looking after them.
I have also looked after hamsters periodically throughout my life, having owned 4 myself.

George - My family and I have owned cats since I was a child. We currently have a stubborn old man called Peregrin 'Pip' Took, and a chubby loud girl called called Pi.
Pi has struggled with allergies her whole life (even her own fur), so I am used to giving her medicines (topical, via food, pills), and regularly getting her check ups at the vet.
I have also owned tropical fish, and am familiar with all the care and attention needed there.
I'm a keen gardener, and have grown just about every type of house plant and veg.
I have travelled a lot, often staying in Airbnbs, and have always kept the places clean and tidy, and treated them with respect.
