Hi, we are Wendy and Patrick!

We are both professionals in health and social services, semi retired, and happy. We are home owners in Golden Bay at the top of the south island of NZ, and run a lifestyle block which we have also run as a successful bed and breakfast business.
We have two fantastic and independent adult children and we happily share our 4 acres of paradise here with our daughter and her family in the family home, whilst Patrick and I have our own modest house on the same land. It is wonderful to take part in, and watch our two small granddaughters grow up.

We have been house sitters in many countries over the past 10 years, as we love to travel.
In our time we have cared for, and loved, many different animals around the world in amazing house sit locations. From tropical fish in New Zealand, to goats, chickens, ducks and horses in France and UK, and of course, dogs and cats. At one Kiwi house sit we even had to take a vintage convertible sports car out for its Sunday run!

We have many references from previous house sits around the globe, and we would love to responsibly care for your pets, home and gardens whilst you are away.

We are active, fit and healthy and non-smokers.

No rating Wendy And Patrick were fabulous They cares lovingly for our house and dog and car.They also were very responsible looking after our chickens sheep and Cattle. They left out place immaculate. I highly reccomend them.

Patrick and Wendy were absolutely fantastic sitters. Their communication prior (and during) the sit was great, they were lovely people and we had the utmost confidence that our beloved dog was left in very good hands. They left our house exactly how we left it. Would 100% recommend to anyone that is after a house/pet sitter. Thank you so much to you both.

Wendy and Patrick were fantastic house sitters, we felt very relaxed and confident to leave them in charge of our home/lifestyle block and animals. Great communication, lovely people. The house was left immaculate and our animals were happy and well fed. Would love to have them stay again.

Wendy and Patrick were fantastic - so lovely and easy to speak with both before, during and after the sit. Our dog loved them, which immediately made me feel at ease as I am very cautious with dogs. We arrived home to a beautifully cleaned home, happy fed and watered animals and a wonderful note keeping us informed of all of the happenings while we were gone. Could not recommend Wendy and Patrick enough!

This was my first time having house sitters. Wendy and Patrick are amazing house sitters. They made the whole process feel easy. I felt comfortable with them right from the start. They are great to chat with and are open and friendly. My animals ( sheep, ducks, cats and dog) were well cared for. My dog was walked each day and he looked happy and tired. Gill, Paul and Bonnie have a warm and comfortable house with all the frills. We had an enjoyable week here with Bonnie the cat, and were able to explore an area which we were unfamiliar with. A brisk walk around the lake is a must! Thank you Gill and Paul, and Bonnie. Enjoy!
It was wonderful to go away knowing our animals were in great hands. Wendy and Pat were lovely and competent and we came back to happy animals and a clean house. Wendy had even managed some weeding which was very appreciated. Thanks guys!

We chose Wendy and Patrick because they had glowing reviews and we were not disappointed. They're a lovely couple with a lot of house sitting experience and we felt we left our pets and home in capable hands. During our absence the hot water supply in our house broke down. Wendy and Patrick handled the 'crisis ' extremely well. We will definitely ask them to house sit for us again!

No rating Wendy and Patrick are excellent house sitter. I have a sick older dog and they were wonderful with her , making sure she got to the vet and changing her dressing. They were very patient and there for her. They were also clean and tidy and weeded the garden. Would highly recommend and are using them again

I've just returned from a 17 day holiday away to a happy and healthy dog and a clean and tidy house. This was the first time I had left my dog Nala with sitters for any length of time, and I'd feel absolutely happy about Wendy and Patrick looking after her again. Nala injured her paw the day before I went away so Wendy had to deal with vet follow ups and keeping an eye on the injury, all of which ... MORE

No rating My wife and I were overseas for a month in May/June 2017. Pat and Wendy house sat for us for the duration of our trip looking after our home and 'menagerie' of a dog, 2 cats, and our tropical fish tank. They did a fantastic job when on our return our pets were very well and happy, our home and garden well cared for. We certainly would recommend Pat and Wendy as great housesitters.
