We are a mature, reliable, conscientious, animal loving couple. We are relocating back to NZ from the UK and look forward to taking our time being free to see some more of NZ. Seb will continue to work from home a few hours as we wander.
We have done several house-sits in the UK (on the Trusted Housesitters website) - then Covid happened and we settled down! All in lovely places, although it is the pets we briefly loved and getting to know their mischievous characters that are remembered and lasting.
We both love animals and have had many pets over the years - cats and dogs, a bearded dragon, chickens and rabbits - but love them all. Seb has had some experience with horses and farm animals too.
We are quiet, careful, non-smoking and you can rely on us to take the utmost care of your property and your animal friends as we would our own.

Jan & Seb were wonderful house sitters. They were very concerned to learn all they could about looking after our pets and our house. Communication was excellent & they sent me lovely updates while we were away so we were content of the great care our cat & dog were getting. It was lovely having Jan and Seb staying in our house. Our three cats were well cared for and even the cantankerous Mabel shone for them. I would have them back in a heartbeat and would thoroughly recommend for anyone considering house sitters.
