Ben

Hi there!

My name is Ben, a 28 year old originally from Scotland, but living in New Zealand for the next 2 years.

I grew up in the rural countryside of the Scottish Borders, before moving down south to London for 5 years for a career in Digital Marketing. Having now been in New Zealand for 5 months, I've spent the summer living, working and enjoying the great outdoors of Wanaka.

Growing up on a farm, I've always be surrounded by animals, from dogs to pigs, sheep and horses! My family have always had labradors, most recently a 5-year old chocolate lab named Bula. I also "dog sat" multiple pets in London, including a young Golden Retriever with lots of energy called Sherman. At my current house in Wanaka, there is also an young Australian Shepherd named Oki - we often go for early morning walks and swims in the lake!

I'm extremely active, and love all sports including hiking, cricket, golf and surfing. Day-to-day, I work as a freelance marketing professional, and work remotely (typically from home). I'm a tidy, relaxed individual, and would love the chance to experience new areas of New Zealand, whilst also helping you whilst you're away!
