Animal loving, positive, clean, energetic, fit, healthy person of sober habits (no drinking, smoking or drugs) has been living and working in a professional capacity all over the world since 1987. I grew up on a farm in Africa where we commercially farmed a variety of crops. Actually I started house-sitting by default in June 1987 during my first visit to California and having done one, I house-sat a further three homes all for people from the same company. Owing to all my travels/work I also have a recent police clearance dated in 2015 and another sometime around August 2017 (can dig it out from my files if you want to see it - no problem).
I can give you traceable references with both business associates and previous/recent house sits on other reputable formalised websites. Very handy in home maintenance, so if you want to line up some extra chores for me that would be fine too (I pay close attention to detail).
I have an affiliation with both cats and dogs, but probably especially cats because even the skittish ones usually come over to me within a little while (unless they're completely wild).
I work casually from home, on my own pc and my own cell phone, so your pets will have good exercise and good company. I hope I can help you!

Steve was amazing when looking after our home and animals while we were away. He kept the house clean and tidy and gave the animals a lot of extra attention with walks and cuddles. Steve was easy to communicate with before and during his stay, keeping us updated with text and photos. Knowing Steve was in our home made our holiday that more enjoyable as we didn't have to worry about a thing. Would 100% recommend Steve!!

Our cat Mia took to Steve during our meet and greet which sealed the deal. Steve took amazing care of Mia, sending us many photos and messages. He also cared for my many house plants and our home. We returned home to a happy cat and tidy home with our bed freshly made ready to climb into after many hours of travel. Steve was a great house sitter. His communication was fantastic and haves us daily updates on our fur baby. Took him for walks everyday and made sure he was loved. The house was clean and sparkling when we returned. Would recommend Steve.

We had Steve look after our house and animals for a month.' He was clean and courteous, looked after our cat extremely well ( I would say spoilt him rotten :) ), he kept us informed with photos and texts often and looked after our garden very well. I am happy to recommend him.

Steve looked after my place from the 14th April to the 3rd May, whilst I was overseas on holidays.
He certainly maintained my home and was economic with respect to power and water usage. He used the irrigation properly. This was a concern to me as the system required adjusting two valves. In fact it was easy to burn out the pump if the valves were turned the wrong way.

Steve housesat for me for 5 days but actually stayed another 2 nights due to me having to leave early in the morning and come back late at night. Steve was an excellent Housesitter. The animals loved him and he spoiled my dog by taking her for lots of walks. I came back to a clean and tidy house . I would not hesitate to recommend Steve for your house sitting needs.
Steve just finished a sit for us and I almost don't want to say how great he was for fear he will become too booked to come back here!! Seriously though Steve is such a nice guy and EJ adored him our house was nice and tidy and he even did some awesome gardening for us!! Would have him back in a second!!
Steve looked after our house and Dog Bruce whilst we were on holidays for a month overseas in December 2015.
