We are David & Judy from Gisborne on the East Coast of the North Island, First City in the world to see the Sun each day.
We are a now retired couple with a yen for exploration, adventure, and the excitement that comes from experiencing different cultures/places. Our travels have taken us across continents, immersing ourselves in diverse communities and learning from the history each place has to offer.
We are walkers, have had the fun of walking across France & Spain. As avid travellers who have travelled as finance allowed, we have always enjoyed the realness of staying in a real home/B&B rather than hotels and motels. Due to having people in our own home we understand the importance of finding trustworthy, dependable house sitters to care for the home while you're away. We understand that your/our home, is filled with memories and cherished possessions. As such, we approach house sitting with the utmost respect, treating your home as if it were our own.
Our experience extends beyond house sitting; we have cared for pets, including our own cherished companions, Colby, Pip, and Cifa. (we thought we were so clever and individual with that name until our first Vet visit when he laughed and said how many cats he treated with that name). As careful owners of these ‘fur babies’, we understand the affection and responsibility that comes with pet care. Rest assured, your furry friends will be in loving and capable hands.
