We’re both easy-going, respectful and clean, and we really enjoy living in a home environment rather than constantly moving from place to place. We understand that your home and pets are important to you, so if you choose us, we’ll take the responsibility seriously and treat your home with the same care and respect we would give our own.

We both love animals and enjoy spending time with them, whether that means going for walks, playing, giving them company or simply keeping them comfortable in their usual routine. We’re happy to follow any instructions you have regarding feeding, walks, medication, cleaning or anything else your pets may need while you’re away.

We also have experience caring for the pets of friends and family. In Argentina, Emilia regularly looked after Nala, a friend’s cat, while she was away on holiday. She also cared for Bucky, another friend’s dog, who stayed and lived with her for a period of time. We have also looked after our sister’s dogs on different occasions, so we are comfortable taking responsibility for pets in our care and adapting to their individual personalities and routines.

We are currently planning to work in the Helensville and surrounding areas, so we’re particularly interested in house sitting opportunities around Helensville, Waimauku, Kumeū, Huapai and nearby areas. We’re looking for a peaceful and comfortable place to stay while we work, and at the same time we’d love the opportunity to care for someone’s home and pets.

We are experienced with sharing homes and understand the importance of keeping a place clean, tidy and respectful. We are non-smokers, responsible with other people’s belongings and always do our best to leave a home just as we found it — or even better.

We would be very happy to meet beforehand, have a chat about your pets and their routine, and make sure you feel completely comfortable leaving your home in our care.

We have also grown up around and cared for farm animals, including chickens, pigs, horses and cows, so we are comfortable around different types of animals and understand that each one has different ... Read moreWe have experience caring for our own rescued cat, who was a very important part of our family. We have also grown up around and cared for farm animals, including chickens, pigs, horses and cows, so we are comfortable around different types of animals and understand that each one has different needs and routines.

More recently, while staying with a family in Gisborne, we shared our daily life with their dog. We really enjoyed spending time with him, keeping him company and playing with him when we came home from work.

Although we are new to house sitting, we are responsible, patient and caring, and we understand how important it is to follow each pet’s routine and the owner’s instructions. We would treat your pets with the same care and affection we would give our own.
