German couple travelling NZ for a year, but missing the love of animals. As true animal lovers, we combine our adventure with caring for your pets and homes with love, responsibility and respect.

What we love about house sitting is the opportunity to build a connection with animals and give them love, attention and comfort while their owners are away. We enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and becoming part of their routine, wether that means long walks, playtime or relaxing.

Hi, we are Charlotte and Joris from Germany. We are travelling through New Zealand for a year and would love the opportunity to take care of your home and your beloved pets while you are away.

Animals have always been a very important and consistent part of our lives. Growing up, we both had our best friends by our side: our dogs Palle and Aura. These dogs taught us how special a bond between humans and animals can be and how much happiness, comfort and unconditional love they can bring into our lives.

Both of us grew up on the countryside, surrounded by animals and nature. Taking care of pets, plants and a home has always been a normal part of our everyday lives. Grewing up, we learned that caring for animals means responsability, patience and a lot of love.

Joris has also turned his love for animals into his everyday life. For the past four years, he has been working at a wildlife park in Germany, where he works with different animals every day, as well as him regularly taking in dogs from countries such as Ukraine and Romania, to help them recover and support them until they find their forever homes. Because of this, we have spent a lot of time around dogs with different behaviours, backrounds and needs.

Together, we have lots of experience with and different animal personalities. we are often asked by neighbours and friends to look after their pets because they know we are reliable, caring and responsible. We enjoy creating a safe, calm and loving environement where animals feel comfortable and happy. We are both friendly, open minded and adaptable people who love being outdoors, exploring nature, going for long walks and staying active. We are also happy to help with household tasks, gardening, plants and anything else that needs attention.

For us, house sitting is not just about staying somewhere new, it is about giving animals love, companionship and the same care we would give our own pets. we will treat your home and your animals with kindness, respect and responsibility.

I grew up with pets and have experience caring for different kind of animals, including dogs, rabbits, cats, hamsters and fish. I have also regularly looked after pets for neighbours and friends in my local community, including feeding, cleaning and giving them attention while their owners were away.

At home, I have experience caring for dogs and rabbits, and I understand that every animal has it own personality, needs and routine. I enjoy spending time with animals, making them feel comfortable and safe and giving them the same love I would give to my own pets.

We will arrive in Aucklandon september 4th and are excited to start our NZ adventure. We are very flexible with our plans and don't have a fixed itinerary yet. We would love to explore different places while helping care for homes and pets along the way.
