One of the main reasons I came to New Zealand was my love for animals. Since arriving in March, I’ve enjoyed visiting zoos, farms, and wildlife attractions. While searching online, I discovered a pet-sitting opportunity and spent two wonderful months caring for two cats in their owner’s home. That experience confirmed how much I enjoy looking after pets and inspired me to continue pet sitting.
During those two months, I looked after every part of the cats’ daily routine, including feeding, brushing, nail trimming, teeth brushing, litter cleaning, and plenty of playtime and companionship. I also have experience walking a friend’s dog. I understand that every pet has its own personality and routine, so I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully and make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved.
I graduated from an English language school and continue improving my English every day. I currently work part-time at a Japanese restaurant with a flexible shift schedule, so I can usually adjust my availability to suit your house-sitting dates.
For your peace of mind, I am a non-smoker and I do not drink alcohol. I do not currently have a car, so I travel by train and bus, which means I plan my schedule carefully and arrive on time for my commitments.

During this time, I was responsible for feeding them, brushing their fur, trimming their nails, brushing their teeth, cleaning their litter box, and playing with them using cat toys to keep them happy, healthy, and active. I made sure they followed their daily routine and always received plenty of attention, affection, and care while their owner was away.

In addition, I have experience walking a friend's dog and understand the importance of regular exercise, companionship, and ensuring pets are always safe and comfortable.

Yuri was amazing. She quickly stepped in very last minute after I made a mistake with my dates. I was so lucky to get Yuri. She was quick to respond and arrive. Without her we would not have been able to go away for the weekend! She did a great job, Dot and George were very well looked after and were happy when I got home. Yuri gave me updates and was great at communication but still gave us space to let us enjoy ourselves. She left the house super clean and tidy! Can't thank ... MoreYuri was amazing. Yuri was very polite and lovely to deal with. She kept me updated and sent photos of Belle.. I came back to a happy and well looked after cat. I will definitely ask Yuri to look after Belle again.
