I love getting a taste of what it is like to live in different areas and spending time with animals.

Kia ora! I am a masters student at University of Otago and will be in the Cromwell area over winter break (Jun 8- Jul 10) for a short-term job, and am looking for house-sitting positions during that time.

I have two cats of my own in the US who I am missing dearly while I'm in NZ. I lived in a house with primarily wood-stove heating and lots of snow shovelling for 3 winters so am very proficient at those skills. I am also a very tidy person.

Pet care

I was basically the unofficial house-sitter for two of my workplaces and have experience with cats, dogs, fish, and three desert tortoises.

Review

Sonya has house sat for us twice now, looking after our 18 month old Burmilla cat, and she has been fantastic. She's sent lots of regular updates of how Lou was getting on, left our place super clean and tidy and was a pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend her.
