We love caring for animals, tending gardens and settling into new spaces near or far!

We're Jordy and Ben, a Christchurch-based couple going on four years together.

I'm a trained chef of 10 years across pastry, fine dining and cafes. That background follows me into every home I stay in. A clean kitchen means a clear head for me, so you can trust yours will be well looked after. I have a terrible habit of filling homes with the smell of freshly baked bread. Ben is a game developer with a love of the outdoors, and one of his lifetime goals is to complete the Great Walks of Aotearoa. Growing up on a farm in the Waikato, he has experience looking after goats, Kune kune, sheep, chickens and his siblings (he's one of 11!) He's adventurous, incredibly tidy and brings a calm energy to everything he does.
Together we make a great team, one of us is happiest with flour on her hands and the other is happiest eating the bread.

We're well-travelled as a couple and our last big adventure was a year exploring Asia. We love the way travel opens you up to new places, new people and new routines. House sitting feels like a natural extension of that — after seeing Asia, we'd love to see more of our own backyard!
