I have arrived in New Zealand on a Working Holiday visa and I am eager to explore this beautiful country and its culture. I have lived in several countries before, which has given me an open-minded and adaptable outlook on life.

One of the few things I miss about my nomadic lifestyle is not being able to have pets of my own. My dream for the future is to have a home with animals — especially dogs — when I eventually settle down. Although I haven’t had many pets myself (apart from a small rabbit when I was a child, as some of my family members are allergic), I have always loved animals.

Even though I haven’t had animals of my own, I grew up in the countryside with a strong connection to nature, so I am very comfortable being around animals. In addition, last year I volunteered at an animal rescue centre in Mexico, where the main focus was helping street dogs but I also helped care for horses, cats, pigs, goats, and chickens. This experience taught me a lot about stray and abandoned animals and how to care for them with patience and compassion.

I have also looked after my friends’ dogs while they were away, giving me experience with feeding, walking, and providing loving attention. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for.

Pet care

I have experience with pet sitting for both dogs and cats. I currently live temporary with one cute kitty in HB. Also I have volunteered one month in animal rescue center Yum Kaax in Campeche Mexico.
