A friend of ours told us about house sitting in New Zealand and how it’s a great way to get to know a part of a city by becoming part of everyday life and a neighbourhood, rather than just renting an Airbnb and feeling more like a tourist. We hope to meet great people with their fury friends.

We are Noah (27 years old, French) and Wiwi (28 years old, German), a couple living normally in France and we took a year off to go traveling, taking a break from daily work life. Our little project here in NZ was to convert our Toyota Hiace into a Campervan and to enjoy the beautiful nature of this corner of the world ☺️
We are a two active persons, we love spending time at the ocean, up-cycling old furniture, playing card games or chess and love doing sports like surfing or going for a run. ... Noah is a specialist for quick and yummy meals, Wiwi is not too keen of cooking and is rather doing the dishes in return. 😋 Noah loves cats and kind of showed wiwi why and now she loves them too. 😸
We are dog friendly too and always happy to have a compagnon during our walks. 🐶

From the moment we met this wonderful couple, Noah and Wiwi we felt completely at ease. They are very kind, relaxed and caring, and truly felt like family; they fitted into our home and routine so naturally. They provided incredible care for our four cats, balancing their different personalities, diets and care needs —from the high energy of our kitten and the extra needs of our elderly and deaf cats, to being extra gentle with our anxious cat. Wiwi & Noah were absolutely perfect! I felt at ease from the moment I contacted them. With friendly and fast communication, they looked after our home and pets beautifully. Was Great having Noah & Wiwi care for our little farm, came back to clean home and happy animals. Would love to have you guys back anytime, enjoy the rest of your travels.
Noah & Wiwi looked after my cat and home for 11 days. Their communication was excellent and they were happy to do additional tasks as they came up (for example the security cameras needed to be charged). I was happy to come home to a healthy garden, a tidy house and a very happy cat. Thanks Wiwi and Noah and all the best in your travels!
Wiwi and Noah were delightful house sitters! They sent us regular updates and pictures of our cats having a lovely time with them. The house was immaculate when we arrived home, and they even washed and hung our bedding and re-made the bed! This couple is warm, communicative and tidy. Noah and Wiwi are welcome back at our place any time!
