We're taking a Gap year! We've begun our house sitting journey - the variety of locations, interesting people and lovely pets is brilliant 😀

House sitting gives us the opportunity to spend time and explore a community and live more like a local rather than tourists.

We both love nothing better than being in the great outdoors and exploring new places.
As home owners ourselves, we will treat your home with the care and respect it deserves and make sure it is lovely for your return.
We both love animals and see it as a bonus to care for your furry/feathered friends. We are fit and would love to walk your dog/s, cuddle your cats and have a chat with your birds!

Both keen gardeners, growers and DIYers and will be only too happy to get our hands dirty, if required. Nature and the environment are important to us...we will always recycle & compost. We both love to cook and enjoy heading into a local market (if there is one) it's always a treat. Both non-smokers.

Pet care

We love animals and grew up with cats/dogs/chickens/guinea pigs. We have not had pets in the UK as we worked full time and travelled quite a bit. Diane - I recently completed a 4 day sit in Albany (elderly dog with special needs and 3 chickens) LOVED IT!
We have just completed a private Housesit (no pets) in Birkenhead, Ak.
These were not through Kiwi House Sitters.
Now in Russell on a 3 week sit with a lovely Labrador.

Diane and Tony were absolutely amazing. We are so grateful they were our housesitters. They kept us updated with pictures and we came back to a wonderful relaxed dog and a super tidy home. They even helped heal a small wound Oscar had with plaster changes and helped with wearing a cone. We highly recommend Diane and Tony. They are fabulous housesitters. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
If I could give more stars, I would give them 100! Everything about them was perfect! They are friendly and beautiful people. I didn't think our birds (wild family turkeys with young poults, hand reared house sparrow and our beloved budgie) even realized we were gone! In fact, or budgie came out for a fly more often!? Our home was spotless upon our return and our plants were well taken care of. The only disappointment was knowing that they didn't live close enough to be able to call on them ...
