We love house sitting because it lets us experience new places in a meaningful way while caring for homes and pets with genuine love and respect. We enjoy the peace of new environments, the company of animals, and the trust built with each stay.

Hi! We’re Rocío and Marco, a Chilean couple who love animals, nature, and the chance to experience life in different places in a calm and meaningful way.

This experience has been such a positive one for us, and we feel very grateful for the trust homeowners have placed in us. We also have lovely references on the app, which mean a lot to us.

We’re calm, caring, tidy, and very respectful people. We don’t smoke, and we always look after each home with the same care we would give our own. We genuinely love animals and have always had dogs and cats in our families, so caring for pets, understanding their routines, and making them feel safe and loved comes very naturally to us.

Marco works remotely, and Rocío will start her English course in Auckland later in July. Until then, we are house sitting around the North Island and enjoying this beautiful experience of caring for homes and pets along the way. During our time in Auckland while Rocío is studying, we would also love to continue house sitting whenever possible.

We’ve really fallen in love with New Zealand — its people, its landscapes, and the lifestyle here — and we’re also hoping to find an opportunity that allows us to stay longer and continue building our life here.

We enjoy cooking, keeping a home clean and welcoming, and appreciating the little details that make a place feel special. For us, house sitting is not just about having somewhere to stay — it’s about trust, care, and helping others feel relaxed while they are away.

Growing up in the countryside taught us to respect, care for, and understand animals — to treat them with kindness and patience.
We truly enjoy spending time with them, following their routines, and making sure they feel calm, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away.

We are currently in New Zealand and, at the moment, we are based around the North Island while waiting for Rocío’s English course in Auckland to begin later in July.

Until then, we are flexible with location and enjoying the opportunity to care for homes and pets in different parts of the country.

Rocio and Marco were fabulous sitters! Great communications both before and during the sit with photos of Hopper out for walks! We came home and the house was very clean and tidy with sheets washed and bed made up with clean linen. We would be happy to recommend them for other pet and house sits!
Wow! I can't imagine ever having better house & pet sitters than Marco & Roccio. These are the most caring considerate wonderful people. Marco ... we want to adopt you! We came home to a beautifully clean fresh house, to two extremely happy & contented wee dogs plus a full Chilean cooked dinner & a superb bottle of Chilean red wine. We fully intend to keep in touch with this couple. All I can say is thank you & WOW!!!
Marco and Rocio were fantastic house and cat sitters. They cared for my elderly cat with real attention, managing his medications confidently and kindly. The house was immaculate when I returned, and their updates while I was away gave me great peace of mind. I would happily have them back.
