My name is Leyre and I’m from Bilbao, Spain. I love travelling and I’m currently planning a long term stay in New Zealand. I hold a working holiday visa and I would like to find a place to stay where I can experience local life accompanied by a furry friend.

My name is Leyre and I’m from Bilbao, Spain. I love travelling and I’m currently planning a long term stay in New Zealand. I hold a working holiday visa and I would like to find a place to stay where I can experience local life accompanied by a furry friend.

I’m the kind of person that stops to pet every dog I encounter. I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs so I have been an animal lover since I was a child. Because of the way I was raised, I decided to become vegan at a very young age both for the animals and the environment.

I have looked after the pets of family and friends several times as if they were my own, enjoying long walks, play time and lots of cuddles.

In terms of working experience, I was a clinical laboratory technician in Spain. In my previous job, I focused on studying the outcome and recovery of neurological diseases. In that position I learned to maintain an organised, tidy and clean working space, as well as being responsible and reliable.

Overall, I consider myself to be a kind, caring and responsible person, and I’m willing to take good care of your beloved pet!
