It allows us to combine our love for animals and helping others, and the opportunity to travel and explore whilst we look for our next home. Along the way we've met some amazing people and their pets.

We’re a couple, both 38, friendly and trustworthy. We like staying active, exploring the outdoors, enjoy bush walks and the beach. We’re also plant lovers, so we’re more than happy to water and maintain both your house plants and garden while you’re away.

We both grew up around many pets, with years of combined experience caring for dogs, cats, chickens, and small animals. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, cleaning, or simply providing some good old company, we treat every pet like part of our own family.

We’ve relocated from Wellington to Tauranga and are currently looking for our next home. In the meantime, we’re taking the opportunity to enjoy some time off work, which means we’re fully flexible with location and timing - and available full-time to give your pets the care and attention they deserve.

We’ve cared for grass-fed cows, regularly moving them between fields, and have also looked after many chickens. While we’re new to farm sitting, we’re enthusiastic and keen to learn!

Jodie and Jo were AMAZING! We felt so lucky to have them, Jodie kept us updated often and sent pictures which was lovey to receive when we were away. Jodie and Joe were fantastic house sitters. They took great care of Nala and looked after the house really well while we were away. Communication was easy, and it was such a relief knowing everything was in good hands. The daily updates and photos were awesome! We came home to a happy dog and a tidy house, and couldn’t have asked for more. We’d happily have Jodie and Joe back anytime and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
If you want peace of mind that your pet and house will be well cared for then Josie and Joe are your people! We felt very confident that our dog Vinnie was happy and well loved. Josie kindly sent regular photos and videos to us while we were away. Vinnie was healthy and happy on our return. Also the house and gardens were clean and tidy. Josie and Joe maintained Vinnies daily routines, which is important for an older dog. We highly recommend Josie and Joe and look forward to them ... Joe and Jodie sat for us for 5 weeks, they looked after 4 cows, three chickens and our pride and joy Ace our dog. We could not have been more happy with how they cared for our animals and home. The lawns were mowed and house plants cared for. Upon return our home was left clean and tidy, Ace was settled and healthy. They took him for two walks per day and followed instructions to the T. They sent photos and videos of Aces adventures which I appreciated. Also during their tenure we had two huge ... Communication was daily, with lots of cute pics. Dogs and chickens were all calm and happy on our return. I wd highly recommend Jodie and Jo and hopefully they will be able to house sit for us again in the future.
Jodie & Joe were the best house\dog sitters we could've hoped for! They sat for us for 3 weeks while we were on an overseas holiday and knowing they were looking after our house and dogs made our time away so much easier. From the first communication right to the end of the sit these two were a delight. They set up a WhatsApp group and provided almost daily updates showing our dogs living their best lives 🤣 Some key points to note: - House was immaculate when we got home, and they had ... Jodie and Joe became Ben’s new favourite people in the month we were away and they were amazing pet and house sitters. This was the longest we have been away and we received regular updates, photos and nice videos of Ben and news from home. Jodie and Joe are excellent communicators. Jodie & Joe were wonderful to deal With and treated my home and Toby like their own ☺️ regular updates and photos of Toby set my mind at ease, their communication was perfect. They communicated flexibility on their departure which was very settling when flight times are often delayed. We arrived home to a very clean and tidy home, well cared for tomato plants and a happy puppy! Couldn’t ask for more, would happily have them house sit for me again! ❤️
Jodie and Joe wow what a lovely couple to house sit for us. They looked after our cat Bella and chickens brilliantly and vege garden looked great. Joe fixed my satellite dish great job. Jodie left the house lovely clean and tidy better than when we left I think. We thoroughly recommend them and appreciate we didn't have to worry about anything. Thankyou guys
Jodie and Joe have been the best house and pet sitters we have had so far. Our dog Rupert we could tell has been much happier while we were away as they looked after him like he was their own, they even bathed him whuch was beyond expectation. Our house was kept clean and tidy. Communication was first class getting updates every few days on our pets. We cannot recommend them enough.
Jodie and Jo have been excellent sitters. They treated my dog and house as if it was their own. Bella was well cared for and very happy. The house was left immaculately clean and the plants had been watered. Communication was great plus photos and videos were plentiful . Jodie and Joe were amazing housesitters! They looked after our two spaniels with such care and attention. We received regular updates and photos and returned from our trip away to find our house and garden looking beautiful. We would recommend Joe and Jodie as housesitters without hesitation. They are a lovely, honest and reliable couple who will do a great job.
Awesome couple that Huxley that our hypo Springer absolutely adored. I am sure that he misses them. House nice and tidy when we returned. Nice to have them at home. Very friendly sent me cool photos of their adventures in WhatsApp.
We used Jodie and Joe for our first petsite and they were fantastic. They are a lovely couple who really looked after our doggo and our home. The house was spotless when we returned and our dog had a great connection with them. I would not hesitate to use them again for our next trip.
