I am available for housesitting from December 2026 - March 2027 when I will be moving back home after being in a Uni flat.

favoriteWhy I love house sitting

As I am a poor student occasional housesitting provides an opportunity for 'timeout' from a shared flat environment and possibly bring a bit more luxuary from my student lifestyle!! I will also enjoy the company of your fur babies now I'm living without pets.

I am now in my third year of a 5+ year double Law and Arts degree at Canterbury University. I also work part time as a receptionist in a Christchurch Physiotherapy Clinic.

In 2026 my availability for house sitting has significantly reduced however I have kept my profile open for Summer 26/27 bookings.

I have my own vehicle and full driver licence.

I have grown up caring for family pets including 2 dogs, a rabbit and 3 cats and I regularly enjoy the multiple dog friendly tracks around ... In my spare time I am a regular gym junkie and enjoy 'brunching' at different cafes around the city and surrounding area with friends.

I have several referees available who will happily provide an honest review of their personal experience when entrusting me as their house and pet sitter.

I enjoy my own company and with my demanding study commitments, house sitting provides a quiet environment for me to share with your beloved pets.

Elise provided a fantastic house/dog sit for us while we away. Our dog was well looked after and our house was left neat and tidy. We would highly recommend Elise as a pet sitter and would be happy to utilise her services again.
Everything in pristine shape when we returned.
Elise took care of our fur kids and with such ease. It was a pleasure to know they were well cared for. Such a blessing to have found someone we can rely on, definitely recommend!

Elise was an amazing housesitter, it was my first time using a stranger to care for my place but she made the whole process easy and stress free. Elise took great care of my home and cat, the house was spotless when I came home and the cat seemed very happy. I have already arrange my next sit with Elise and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone.
Elise was the perfect sitter for our Molly! She understood and accommodated for Molly's energy levels and made her very happy. Highly recommend Elise and would not hesitate to ask her again.
