I'm Irish and a high school English teacher with a passion for the outdoors. I love hiking and swimming in my spare time, and I'm just getting back into running after a long hiatus with a knee injury.

I keep my home very clean and tidy; my mum trained me well! I've had years of travelling, living in house shares and staying in Airbnbs, and I treat each and every place with care and respect.

Having Aoife housesit for us and look after our 3 rascals (one dog and two cats) felt more like a friend or relative visiting than a near-stranger! Aoife's attention to detail is exceptional - she asked so many relevant questions ab0ut caring for the animals, their habits and needs , and it was clear that she genuinely loves animals, forming bonds with all three in the week she was here. Aoife is a fantastic sitter. Great communication from the start, we had daily updates on our dogs, who absolutely loved her looking after them. It meant we had a great and relaxed holiday and when we came home the house was immaculate (possibly better than when we left it 😀). We highly recommend Aoife and will be giving her first refusal to sit again when we next go away.
We cannot recommend Aoife highly enough! Looking after our home and animals is no small task. We have three dogs, a cat, chickens, sheep, and deer, all with their own routines, needs, and personalities. Aoife was likely the best house and pet sitter we have ever had. She was so conscientious and caring. The pets loved her and she was also like Mary Poppins leaving the house cleaner than we left it! I cannot rate her high enough, we had messages and photos and videos of the pets and any questions were answered. It is obvious Aoife loves animals and is an extremely responsible house and pet sitter, Recommended without hesitation. I wish she was my neighbour, I would have her here every time we ... All organised very quickly, which was great as it was a last minute decision to have someone sit for us, House was tidy and well looked after, animals were still exhausted when I got home and had no complaints!! Will use Aoife again and highly recommend

Aoife was wonderful to deal with. Very easy house sitter. I loved having updates and photos of our dogs while we were away. The house was immaculate when we got home. I would definitely have her back again. A+++.
Aoife's communication was excellent from the first contact. She kept us updated with reports and photos over the weekend, and we came back to a very happy dog and chickens who had clearly been cared for very well. Excellent, sitter, highly recommended

Aoife was amazing. The most communicative and conscientious, tidy sitter we’ve had in a long time. She was also very understanding when we ended up coming home from our camping a day early due to horrible weather. Would have her sit for us again in a heartbeat. She also (embarrassingly) left our house tidier than we did! Highly recommend
