I love caring for others fur babies. Also being able to stay in different parts of the north island. And visit places I haven't been to before, or been to for a long time.

Hi my name is Trish.
I am a mother to three girls, five grandchildren and one great grandchild, and have lived in Masterton most of my life.

I grew up at Castlepoint in the Wairarapa. My parents managed Castlepoint Station for 45yrs up till their retirement. It was a wonderful place to grow up. I boarded at Wairarapa College.

I grew up at Castlepoint in the Wairarapa. My parents managed Castlepoint Station for 45yrs up till their retirement. It was a wonderful place to grow up. I boarded at Wairarapa College.

Once I left college I became a shepherd (landgirl) on Castlepoint Station. I worked there for four years and had a team of seven working dogs and my trusty horse. I did everything from caring for my dogs, horse care, and of course, plenty of work with stock eg. sheep, cows.

Prior to our getting married, my husband and i moved to Auckland where I worked on a race horse stud. The work involved foaling mares, weaning, then preparing the foals/yearnings for sale at Karaka.

When we moved back to Masterton, i worked on a chicken farm, collecting and grading eggs. I did a short stint at a plant nursery, up till we started our family. Once the children started school I became a Kids Start carer (Barnados). I took care of children from birth - five years old. When I finished there I worked for Health Care New Zealand doing personal cares and house work in the client's homes.
I am also police checked for Barnados, Health Care New Zealand. New Police check done February 2026 for respite care for children through. Oranga Tamariki (2024)

We have had plenty of pets - dogs, cats, rabbits and I use to breed birds.

Trish is a very practical level headed person. Got water leak fixed and sorted horses grazing and fences. Our dog loves Trish. Greatful for her care of house and animals

So greatful to have Trish as our regular housesitter. So reliable and great with the animals. Totally recommend
This was our first experience of a housesitter, and what a positive one! Trish was amazing looking after all our animals on our lifestyle block, including our ‘high-energy, velcro spaniel cross. She was attentive to all their needs, including changing horses’ covers and picking up horse poo. We had a wonderful holiday and the animals didn’t even miss us. We would definitely use Trish again. Thank you Trish!
Amy and Mark were very welcoming when I went out a couple of weeks early to meet their dog Pedro. They told me he was nervous when meeting new people so I waited for him to come to me, once he was comfortable with me he was very cuddly and very energetic. Trish is exceptional. We are very confident that she giving the best care to our horses and dog Lucy. She handled an unexpected event with our older horse, kept us informed and carried out our wishes perfectly.. Love having Trish housesit.

Trish was fantastic to have. Unfortunately my dog fell ill (no fault) and Trish was super quick to contact my son & looked after him amazingly once he was home from the vets, gave meds etc & kept in contact with me. Highly recommended!

Awesome to have Trish to do a return housesit. Very happy animals ad so well looked after. House immaculate. Trish is a treasure.
Loved being back at Kitty and Bills. Always a relaxing time there. Throughly enjoyed giving lots a cuddles to Lucy (dog) and Bubz and still working on getting cuddles from cookie and Ollie. (3 horses)So you again soon

So happy to have Trish housesit for us. She has a open and happy approach to life with great communication. Our dog and horses were well taken care of. House was also well cared for and even some chocolate slice made for us. Definitely wanting Trish to do return housesits for us.
Highly recommend. Would have Trish again.

Trish stayed our home for almost 6 weeks while we were overseas. her responsibility was to look after our menagerie of animals, most elderly and some with ongoing medical issues. She took it all in her stride and didn't hesitate to seek veterinary support when my diabetic dog had a wobble, which I really appreciated. All animals were well looked after, and it certainly made my holiday a lot more relaxing knowing they were in capable hands The house was tidy upon my return and everyone was ... Second time Trish has sat for me, excellent communication, care of pets and house, 15 days and pets were sad to see her go. recommended
Trish was excellent when looking after our 3 cats. We got updates and videos on how they were doing, so made our holiday so much more relaxing knowing they were in good hands, See related to our cats well. When we got home our cats were very happy and relaxed. We well have her looking after our cats any time and recommend her to anyone looking for a house sitter.

Highly recommend Trish for your next House sit, we came home to two very happy well looked after dogs. Great communication the whole way along from Trish and she was so accommodating when we had to change our dates slightly. We felt so at ease when we met Trish, very easy going and nothing was an issue. I think our dogs Missy and Lucy were missing her when we got home! sign of a great pet sitter. Would love to have Trish come back and house sit again.
