Hi, and welcome to our profile! 👋 We’re Kiah and James, we’re both 28, non-smokers, and full-time pet sitters for the past 2 years. We love what we do and take pride in caring for pets and homes as if they were our own.

Over the past 2 years, we’ve cared for a wide variety of animals — each with their own personalities, needs, and quirks. This has included pets with health issues, those requiring medication, and even vet visits. These experiences have given us the confidence and skills to provide attentive, tailored care for every pet we look after.

About Kiah
Hi, I’m Kiah. I grew up in China and worked as a school teacher before moving to New Zealand in 2023. Since then, I’ve done work experience at the SPCA, which gave me valuable insight into animal care. I’ve also owned several cats myself and love spending time with animals. In my free time I enjoy reading, walking, and exploring new places.



About James
Hey, I’m James. I was raised in Nelson, surrounded by a variety of pets including cats, dogs, birds, and fish. After working in the construction industry for eight years, we traveled to Australia, where Kiah and I began our pet sitting journey. I enjoy keeping fit, traveling, and spending quiet time at home either working or relaxing — which means your pets will always have plenty of company and attention.

We truly enjoy building bonds with the pets we care for and treating each home with respect. We’re happy to arrange a voice or video chat, or even meet in person if convenient. We looking forward to meeting you.

James and Kiah did a wonderful job looking after my cat Sandy. She was very happy and healthy when we got back. I would recommend and use them again if a future opportunity came up.
James and Kiah were wonderful house sitters and we'd definitely ask them to sit for us again. They looked after our dog and cat while we were overseas and sent regular updates, photos, check ins throughout the 6 week sit. We had a few things arranged for while we were away (like vet check ups) and they were really great at making things happen smoothly. The house was spotless when we came home and throughout our whole trip we felt totally reassured that everything was being looked after for ... Kiah and James did a fantastic job of looking after our house and animals while we were away for 8 weeks. They kept in regular contact with us and were great at determining when to contact us with any concerns or queries with the animals. Our animals are very high needs - walks for the dogs and medication - so this was very much appreciated and we could not be happier!
James and Kiah looked after our home and pets for 3.5 weeks, and we couldn’t be more pleased with how everything went. Kiah and James were great cat and house sitters, clear communication and left the house in a great condition.
Kiah and James were fantastic to work with. They communicated with us regularly before we left and while we were away. The peace of mind we had for our pets and home was wonderful. They left the house very tidy and we know our dog Dodger got lots of attention and fun with them. Franklin, our cat, even decided to show up and was fine with them being here. 100% would recommend and book with them again.
Kiah and James kindly agreed to look after my home, two cats and border collie. They were great with communication, friendly and willing to understand the different personalities of my animals. I came home to a super clean house and healthy pets. I can certainly recommend this lovely couple to others, thanks.
James and Kiah took great care of our house and pets, Floki (Labrador) and Issy (Jack Russel), while we were abroad. There is nothing better than having peace of mind when you are away, They made sure to keep in touch with how our dogs were getting on and included pictures of our happy fury children. I would gladly recommend them for house/pet sits and will have no problem asking them to sit for us in the future. Thank you again for being able to do this for us.

From Aussie House Sitters
Looked after my cat extremely well. Unfortunately a few issues cropped up with TV and my computer. I think they are on a learning curve and will get the hang of housesitting. The house was left in excellent condition and they kept in touch. In future I will leave clearer instructions on my tv and ban the use of my computer.
We used the TV and computer only once and operated them in a standard manner, just as any typical user would. Consequently, we cannot be held responsible for any issues that arose after we concluded our sit.

It was our first time leaving our cats with a sitter and they tend to be on the anxious side. We weren’t sure how they would find it, but they instantly warmed to James and Kiah. Even our most shy cat was cuddling them within a couple of days! When we came home our cats were in great spirits. James and Kiah ...
