Hi my name is Margaret, I am a 70 year old widow (New Zealander) very experienced at house sitting, having done it continually for the past 13 years with a total of 72 housesits to date, all in NZ and Australia.I was bought up on a dairy farm in NZ with all sorts of different animals around me. I take pride in myself and will do so with your home and property .Have had 30 years Banking experience and have a Police Clearance record due to accommodating foreign students in my home. Gardening and animals are my passion., also tramping in the outdoors. As i don't have a pet of my own now to love, let me love yours .Am often told by homeowners on their return home how calm and contented their animals appear to them, that will be because of my even temperament.
I am very happy to do airport transfers and to sign a house sitters contract if you so wish,also to make a phonecall to you as soon as that first connection is made. Have had alsorts of housesitting experiences even sitting on a 50 acre bush covered self sufficient property, windmill powered up on the Coromandel peninsula with a border collie dog for company and an elderly cat and loved it..I can offer references and have been asked back to the same places numerous times so that is the best recommendation I can give you. Margaret is an absolute angel. If you are lucky enough to find her available you won't regret her house sitting for you. She was fantastic with my 1yr old Labrador, took excellent care of my home. It was the first time I've ever used a house sitter so was a bit nervous, but I found an absolute gem in Margaret. Highly recommend.
Margaret is the easiest person we have had to communicate with. we met her before the sit so she could meet our dog Teddy and they immediately bonded. While the sit was short, she looked after teddy and our 4 chooks very well. we had very little phone and internet access so communications during our holiday was sporadic. but she answered any contact promptly. She also left us a delicious fish pie in the fridge when we returned! We would thoroughly recommend her to any future potential sit ... Margaret stayed the night prior to my departure to get all the instructions. Once again a very trustworthy kiwi Housesitter . My animals loved Margaret. Communication was excellent. House & garden well taken care of. A lovely caring house sitter. Highly recommend.

Margaret flew all the way from NZ to look after our house and fur babies. She was in regular communication with us leading up to her arrival, and emailed us several times while we were away with updates in the girls. The house was left clean and her bedding cleaned and remade. We wouldn't hesitate recommending Margaret as a responsible house and pet minder.

It was an absolute pleasure having Margaret look after our home and treasured animals over the Xmas break. We came back to a sparkling clean house, well contented cats and chickens, and everything well looked after and taken care of. It was also lovely meeting the lady herself when we got back and I can't recommend Margarets services enough for anyone contemplating getting a reliable and utterly professional, friendly sitter.
