Hello! Our names are Chloe and Amelia and we are a couple based in Auckland. We spent the past two years backpacking (and housesitting!) our way around Europe!

favoriteWhy we love house sitting

Our favourite thing about housesitting is being around the animals. Whether ti be taking a dog for a walk or laying on the coach with a cat on our lap, we love it all!

Chloe: I am a student studying Nutrition, as well as playing football at a high level for Auckland United, so these both keep me very busy! My degree is fully remote so I spend most of my days at my desk studying at home which makes me very suitable to housesitting as I will be able to spend plenty of time at home with the pets.

Amelia: I work full time as a finance and operations assistant for a wine distribution company, as well as some coaching work in schools through a coaching company on the side. I also play football but for Western Springs.

We are both very healthy and active individuals and this means we like to make sure we are maintaining a clean and tidy environment, including a very tidy home! We did many housesits in the UK over the past two years through Trusted Housesitters. We had only positive reviews but unfortunately cannot access these as our membership expired very recently, hence why we are now using Kiwi Housesitters!

We both grew up around an array on animals and since moving abroad, have really missed having our furry friends around. We think housesitting is the perfect solution to this as we can satisfy our need for animals while ensuring the owners can feel comfortable leaving their pets/home while they are away.

Pet care

We have looked after many animals in the UK (through Trusted Housesitters) including the following: dogs, cats, birds and reptiles.

We both grew up on farms so also have plenty of experience with farm animals, rabbits, guinea pigs, horses, chickens, ducks and fish.
