My name is Jeanette and I sit with my partner Karl. We are based in the UK but we travel to pet sit all over the world. We currently have over 70 five star reviews through the Trustedhousesitter website which we can share with home owners. We will be in New Zealand between November 2024 and March 2025 and are interested in longer sits, preferably for cats.

Karl and I are fit and active and enjoy cycling, kayaking, paddleboarding and swimming. We love to explore new places but usually spend evenings in our housesit 'homes' as we love to read, cook and listen to music, so your pets would have lots of company.
We have just finished renovated our home in the UK and are very proud of it. We are extremely clean and tidy people and understand the importance of respecting the homes we are trusted to care for.

We could not have found a better couple to house sit for us. Even though we never actually got to meet Karl and Jeanette, we had several whats app chats which gave us confidence that we had found gems of a hous sitter! We were away for 3 weeks, and their care of our home and beloved cat Simon was outstanding. We were kept informed daily on Simon's escapades, and photos kept coming of him being loved and played with. Our plants we cared for and watered, our home was clean and tidy, and on our ... We would highly recommend them to sit your home, although a little hesitant to post this review as we want them again when they return to New Zealand. They are the best housesitters we have had and look forward to their return in 2025.

This was a second sit where I was delighted Jeanette and Karl were back in NZ and able to look after my two cats and house for me again. As with the previous time they were both awesome to communicate with in advance, ans my two kitties were very well cared for and got lots of cuddles, lots of grooming, a new cat toy which they love, and a cardboard box hidey hole as well!! The house was spotless on my return, the garden well cared for during the hot summer, dinner left for me and lots of ... Jeanette and Karl were amazing- I could not recommend them highly enough! They are lovely people and true animal lovers. My cat Cilla can be a bit anxious around new people, particularly men but they were so good with her. They sent pictures everyday and I think it was the calmest and happiest I have ever seen Cilla look. They are such pros the house looked better than when I had left it. They had the best communication from any house sitter I have ever had- happy to be a reference whenever :)
Jeanette and Karl were great housesitters! They sent me regular updates of my cat and kept me updated throughout thoroughly. House was spotless when I returned! Grateful for their time looking after Whiskey and would welcome them back anytime!
5 stars all around Jeanette and Karl were fantastic and left our home tidier than when we left. Constant communication and pet updates too. Would highly reccomend and would have them back anytime!

Jeanette and Karl were great housesitters,keeping in touch before and during the sit which was great for my peace of mind. The kitties were well looked after, and the house was very clean and tidy on my return. Would definitely recommend these house sitters. Thank you!
