Mature couple visiting from UK, which we do every summer.

My husband and I are visiting New Zealand from Dec2025 - April 2026 and we’d love the chance to look after pets and houses again while we’re there.
Our son has lived in Auckland for the last 7 years and also I have other relatives in the country so I have been there several times. My husband has been four times in the last few years and loves it as much as I do.

We would much prefer to ‘live’ in the country rather than ‘staying’ in a soulless hotel so we can be part of a community.
I was brought up on a farm and continue to spend most of my time there. We own a family run livery yard and both my husband and I are very comfortable around horses. Also there is the usual assortment of dogs and cats that come with a yard, and we used to have chickens, pigs and cattle, so no animal big or small, is a problem to us!
I love walking and doing so with a dog is far more rewarding. Also my husband could be very useful as he loves gardening, so you’ll find your garden to be as tidy as your house on your return!
