We are a mature couple who live on a lifestyle block with a dog and chickens. We love animals and often foster dogs. We are keen gardeners and would look after your property like it's our own.

House-sitting is a wonderful way to see other parts of the country as locals but it also helps the host have a stress-free holiday knowing their pets and home are being well looked after.
As hosts, we are very grateful to all our wonderful sitters and we are keen to help others in the same way.

Hi, we are Tim and Sonja. We have a lifestyle block on the Kapiti Coast, north of Wellington. We are both still working but have children and grandchildren in the South Island and love visiting them.
Tim works remotely and Sonja works part-time so we are very flexible with dates.
While we are new to house sitting, we have been hosts for Kiwi House-sitters for some years, and we know what is involved in taking care of other people's pets and property.

As home-owners, we will look after your home and garden with utmost care. As well as animal care, we can water the garden and house plants and mow the lawns.
We are experienced pet owners and are used to large dogs as well as cats, birds and poultry.
We are happy to have a chat by phone or video, or if there is time, we may even be able to visit.

We would look after your pet as if it's our own. We are keen to walk dogs, happy to administer medication and can even groom a dog or cat if it's required.

Sonja & Tim were amazing. Tim looked after our dogs so well. Communicated consistently to ensure we were relaxed about the housesit. Came home to a very tidy home and very happy dogs. Would highly recommend and hope they will consider housesitting for us again.
