We love housesitting because it lets us spend time with animals and enjoy the peaceful lifestyle of the countryside. Each sit gives us the chance to care for wonderful pets, explore new places, and help owners relax knowing their animals and homes are in good hands.

Kia ora! We’re Betty and Jeremy. We regularly Housesit between Waihi & Te Puna.
Betty is originally from Austria and has called New Zealand home for the past 5 years, while Jeremy is a Kiwi.

We both grew up on farms, surrounded by animals of all kinds – so caring for pets and lifestyle blocks feels completely natural to us. Our love for animals and nature is what inspired us to start house and pet sitting, and we’ve absolutely loved it ever since.

We both grew up on farms, surrounded by animals of all kinds – so caring for pets and lifestyle blocks feels completely natural to us. Our love for animals and nature is what inspired us to start house and pet sitting, and we’ve absolutely loved it ever since.

We’re tidy, respectful, reliable and don‘t drink or smoke. We love to spend our free time Outdoors, going for walks, gardening or simply enjoying some peace and quiet with furry friends.

We regularly housesit on Lifestyle blocks around Katikati, looking after a mix of animals – Dogs, Cats, sheep, cows, pigs, ducks, chickens, alpacas, pony‘s… We enjoy looking after gardens, lawns and houseplants. Jeremy is also handy around the house, so we’re happy to take care of small maintenance tasks if needed.

We’re comfortable giving medication to animals, have excellent references, and always make sure pets feel loved, safe, and happy while their owners are away. We’ll send regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pets are in great hands.

We’d love to take care of your home and pets so you can truly enjoy your time away.

Two extremely lovely people. So attentive to our 2 dogs needs. Highly recommend.
Betty and Jeremy are absolute stars! It was the first holiday that I felt I could really relax, knowing all my pets were well taken care of. Communication was great, with photos and videos every few days. All the animals loved them. They did so much extra, pruning, weeding, lawn mowing, I can not thank them enough. I can see why they are in high demand, an exceptionally lovely couple.
We were so lucky to get Betty and Jeremy to look after our house pets and plants They are a lovely couple and did and outstanding job I hope we can get them again! Our house and dogs were so happy to be cared for by Betty and Jeremy Thank you guys!

The house was spotless and well-maintained upon our return, and our garden was thriving thanks to their green thumbs. Betty and Jeremy exceeded our expectations and we would have no hesitation in recommending them for other house and pet sits. This was our first time, so we were fairly apprehensive, but Betty and Jeremy were nothing short of excellent, from start to finish. They took the time to come meet us first, and then again took the time a few days prior to us leaving to make sure the needs of the pets were understood. This all made us feel very comfortable. Betty and Jeremy are probably the best housesitters we had so far. We noticed right away they were very experienced and we trusted them instantly. Very lovely couple, reliable and easy to communicate with. House was very tidy, Gardens and Houseplants all well looked after. Our animals were all happy and we got lovely photo Updates. I almost don't want to recommend them because I want them to be free the next time I go somewhere haha jokes!!!!! Betty & Jeremy were AMAZING!!!!! Not just for our home, but our whole property was well taken care of. Our animals got comfortable with them really quick, my boy can be iffy with some people - but not with these two! Such kind people that we would 10000% use again! The next people they house sit for will be very lucky :) Highly highly recommend!
