I love that pets get to stay in their own homes rather than the stress of them going into kennals, catteries etc. Not only is it less stress for the pets, it's often less stress for the owners too. Owners get the added security of someone being in their home and their plants watered whilst away.

A few years ago I started house sitting more regularly due to my house having a landslide below it on Council land, since then I have really enjoyed meeting new house owners and their pets.

I love to explore new & old places and meet new people & animals :-). With KiwiHousesitters there is the added bonus of having the company of pets.

From a young age I had pet cats, mice, guinea pigs to look after. When I was 12 yrs I took horse riding lessons and helped out with caring for the horses. In New Zealand where I mostly grew up, you are always really close to a farm experience and I have spent time with farm dogs, chickens, hens and helping nurse and rescue weak baby lambs back to health.

Since then I have house sitting friends and families pets over the years. I love travelling and as a home owner also appreciate the need to have your home looked after whilst your are away. Having looked after my own garden and house I am practically minded and used to maintaining small repairs on my own home.

I am confident in my ability to provide great care for your pets and home. Trust me to treat your home with respect in looking after it and ensure your pets receive the care and attention they need whilst you are away.

Denise was our housesitter for 7 weeks and we found her to be very understanding, responsible and reliable during her stay. We left our home clean and tidy and this is how we found it on our return.

We kept in contact while we were away and she informed us of any problems immediately eg a plumbing issue. We could take action promptly. This was helpful to ensure we kept our home well maintained while not in residence.

Denise is a trustworthy and honest person who will take great care of your home. She has a lively and positive personality and appreciated the opportunity to stay in our home. We were able to relax knowing our home was in excellent hands.

I highly recommend Denise and Kiwi house sitters. Denise is so lovely she cared for our cat and house, which put us at ease and we were able to enjoy our holiday even more knowing that Denise was there. She sent us pictures of our cat, he looked very contented. Denise looked after our garden. Denise went above and beyond by Changing the sheets on our bed and we came home to a lovely clean house. Denise took wonderful care of our dogs and our home. She went above and beyond to look after the garden even though we didn't expect it. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and responsible sitter.
Denise was an experienced, thoughtful and reliable pet and housesitter. We came home to a clean house and happy cat. We would have no issues recommending Denise for future sits.
