I love house sitting as I enjoy the quieter, more local side of travel such as settling into a neighbourhood, caring for animals, and looking after a home rather than just passing through as a tourist. It is also rewarding to be able to help both homeowners and pets feel relaxed and cared for.

My name is Catherine and I have recently moved to the top of the south to be closer to family and explore the beautiful region. I have previously used Kiwi House Sitters as a homeowner, so I understand how important it is to leave your home and pets in safe, reliable hands.

Now that I am travelling more, house sitting feels like the perfect fit — it gives me the chance to experience new places while helping homeowners feel relaxed knowing everything back home is being well looked after.

I understand how important consistency and attention is for animals, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them and keeping them happy, safe, and well cared for.

Catherine house sat for us for 10 days. It was our first experience with a pet sitter and we hit the jackpot. Catherine is so lovely and was wonderful and took wonderful care of our home and pets. It was a Stress free experience from start to finish . I would definitely recommend her to anyone . Michelle
Catherine did an amazing job looking after our house and animals. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her. We were let down only a week before we were leaving and Catherine was able to step in and help us for which we are so grateful. She communicated proactively with us before we left and on our arrival home our house was immaculate, our dogs happy and our horse was completely spoiled.
