I enjoy seeing different parts of the Country and helping people has always been an important part of my life

Hi there.

I have extensive experience housesitting animals (dogs, cats, fish, birds, goats, pigs, cows, sheep) some with health issues, so am used to giving medications etc...and have travelled extensively. I've also looked after gardens and enjoy getting stuck in.
I worked in Social Services for many years and now manage an Arts Charity delivering projects throughout the Country to kids and Special Needs clients, developing Interpersonal skills, Trust, Communication, Confidence etc... so ... Read moreHi there.

Rob house sat for us for 3 weeks and we would definitely choose him again. Great to communicate with and he bonded with our dog quickly. We would highly recommend him. It was nice to feel the house was being looked after as well.
Rob closed only 1 of the 2 latches on the gate to the chicken run. Our goat got in, ate the food & died There is no other way he could have got in. We asked Rob to vacate & he was not happy.. On return home- a nail had gone thru the washing machine & blocked it- a connection for the sink was loose -3 pairs of rubber gloves slashed - unwashed trays in recycling-toilet & shower to be cleaned. 3 hours post vacation, pungent smell through entire home. Jae Cleaning could not remove it. Items ... MoreRob closed only 1 of the 2 latches on the gate to the chicken run. Our goat got in, ate the food & died There is no other way he could have got in. Jae Cleaning could not remove it. Items had to be disposed- plastic, wood, rubber. Pastry brush coated in a thick oily, fish smelling substance. A brush would be ideal to spread substance. We have worked through this. No matter Rob has done, it can not overshadow the loss of Valet. Sad that anyone feels that they can treat others as such

Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel 10 days out from our trip. Rob was very understanding and his communication from booking to cancellation was great. Thanks Rob and we hope maybe in the future you will be able to assist us. Denise and Lloyd
Very pleased to have Rob house sit my Darling Blackie. He took very good care of him. Suggested a good diet for Blackie when he started to scratch. Rob kept in touch with me and he was a very communicator. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who needs a house sitter in the future.
Rob was able to fit us in at late notice and was relaxed about timings, as were we. Communication was great prior which made us feel at ease when we had limited reception while away. House was clean and animals were happy when we arrived home. Thanks Rob.
Rob took care of our little dog Pesha and 8 chickens for nearly 3 weeks over the 2025 Christmas period. We didn’t get to meet Rob as he had car troubles and wasn't able to get to our place before our departure early in the morning. At the end of the sit he had to leave for another house sit prior to us arriving back home in the evening. Luckily our neighbour was able to assist with matters and overall everything went smoothly. As we hadn't been able to show him around, Rob always asked us if he wanted to know something or use something. He watered gardens as per our schedule and things looked nice and green. Rob was great with our ponies ad dogs, especially our elderly and quite needy one. On our return we found the house clean and tidy and Rob to welcome us back. Would certainly consider Rob again for another sit. Many thanks Rob.
Our pets were really well looked after by Rob, our dog now seems to be missing him! Great level of pet care. Thanks!
Rob was really good with our animals and so accomodating as we changed our dates s couple of times due to the weather.
